Here’s What’s Going Down…
Spoiler: It’s bologna. Presented by Dead End BBQ and Elm Hill Meats, The Ultimate Bologna Showdown isn’t just some small-town eating contest.
This is a Major League Eating sanctioned event featuring some of the top-ranked competitive eaters in the world.
This year’s competitors will be battling it out for a $10,000 prize purse — and the bragging rights that come with being crowned the 2025 Ultimate Bologna Champion.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 10th at the UTK RecSports Field Complex on Sutherland Ave in Knoxville, Tennessee. This free, family-friendly event is open to all, and trust us when we say you’ll want to arrive early for the best view of the action.

This year’s showdown is stacked with some of the biggest names in competitive eating, including last year’s champ Joey Chestnut, Patrick Bertoletti, Miki Sudo, Nick Wehry, and more. They’ll be joined by rising stars like Rookie of the Year Tanner Gray, plus other elite eaters and hungry newcomers ready to put their skills (and stomachs) to the test.
